ORDIINTATTCE No. 1 887 An Ordinance relating to the operation of, and the solici- tation of business for, vehicles for hire on Colby Avenue between Hewitt and Pacific Avenues within the cityof Everett, ' and amend- ing Ordinance No. 1825 of the city of Everett as amen ed. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: . Section 1: That Section 104 of Ordinance No. 1825 of the city of Everett be and the same is hereby amended to ead as follows: "Section 104: The Commissioner of Safety with th consent of the City Council may establish so-called "Stage Zones" which shall be clearly marked at the curb, and it shall be unlawful for any car, except a stage, to stand within said Sta e Zones, or for any stage to stand therein for mare than thirty (30) inutes, or for any stage to stand outside of said Zone , on Hewitt between Hoyt and Broadway or on Wetmore between Wall and California, or on Colby between Pacific and California, longer than may be necessary for such stage to unload 'its passen- gers or to pick up such passengers as maybstanding at I'the curb and waiting for passage upon said stage, or for any stage to unload or pick up passengers anywhere within the above name ' district , except at the curb . Provided, however, that no such tage Zones shall be hereafter established by such Commissioner o_ Safety onColby Avenue between Hewitt and pacific and that all Stage Zones • heretofore established on said Street between said limits shall be and they are hereby discontinued.
