Section 4: Rates and charges for the Solid Waste Management Utility shall be as <br /> follows: <br /> CATEGORY CHARGE <br /> Single Family Residence $1.25/unit/mo. <br /> Multi-Family $1.06/unit/mo. <br /> Business $.24/FTE/mo.* <br /> *To a maximum of 10,000 employees or$2,400 per month <br /> Section 5: Rates and charges for the Solid Waste Management Utility shall be subject <br /> to reduction for low income senior and low income disabled citizens as provided in Ordinance <br /> No. 1461-88 or as such may be amended. <br /> Section 6: The Mayor is authorized to establish reasonable rules, regulations and <br /> procedures in connection with collection of rates and charges for the City of Everett Solid Waste <br /> Management Utility. <br /> Section 7: Ordinance No. 2242-97 is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 8: The enactment of this ordinance shall not affect any case, proceeding, or <br /> appeal, or other matter in any court of before the City or in any way modify any rate,charge, <br /> obligation, right or liability, civil or criminal, which may be in existence on the effective date of <br /> this ordinance or as may exist by virtue of any of the ordinance herein superseded or repealed. <br /> Section 9: If any section, sentence, clause, or phrase (i.e., provision) of this ordinance <br /> or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid or unconstitutional by a <br /> court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity <br /> or constitutionality of any other provision, and the remainder of this ordinance, or the application <br /> of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected. <br /> S:\#Common\Clencal\CSTAGORD:ORD2242-97(LS 10/1/99) <br /> 3 <br />
