What is the amount of material involved in the grading and fill removal forth e new fuel tank? I will
be adding a PW works permit for grading to be issued with the mechanical permit since this tank is
not included in the site Public Works permit.
Terri Jorgenson
Development Technician I Permit Services
425.257.88611 3200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
Phone Hours: M-F8:30am-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
COVID-19 Update: Please reference our website & online resources for updates to our
service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to limited staff and increased volumes, response
times have increased and may take as long as 3 — 5 business days. Your patience is
appreciated as we respond in the order received. Thank you and stay well.
Note: Emalls and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and maybe subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
From: Eric Sweet<esweet(cDmazzetti.com>
Sent: Tuesday, July 6, 2021 10:47 AM
To: Terri Jorgenson <TJorgenson(cDeverettwa.gov>
Subject: Kaiser Permanente fuel oil tank
I received your voicemail. I tried calling back, but the phone just kept ringing so I was not able to leave a
message. Are you reviewing the mechanical plans for the full Specialty Clinic design? I ask because there
have been a few enabling projects submitted separately.
There is an existing generator and existing underground fuel oil tank serving the existing clinic. The
existing tank is being decommissioned and a temporary above grade tank is being installed in the existing
parking garage. This work is shown in one of the enabling projects. Under the main project, the new
specialty clinic will get a new generator and a new 4,000 gallon underground fuel tank. Once this is
installed and operational the existing generator and temporary fuel tank will be removed as the new
generator will also serve the existing building.
I attached the Site Prep Package that shows the temporary fuel tank installation for reference only.
If you have further questions please give me a call. I can also direct you to the various enabling projects
or send you any supporting documentation.
Best regards,
Eric Sweet, PE, CxA, LEED AP
Associate Principal I Senior Electrical Engineer
MAZZETTI
2013 Fourth Avenue, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98121
D: 425.712.2188 C: 206.963.2091
www.mazzefti.com
