Signs are subject to the requirements of EMC 19.36.As the subject property is within the L12 zone, <br /> sign category B applies per Table 36-1 within EMC 19.36.040.Table 36-2 identifies the maximum sizes allowed <br /> for wall signs (and freestanding signs)for this sign category:the "Greater of 32 s.f. or 15%of the area of the <br /> building facade up to a maximum of 100s.f.". EMC 19.36.050 also identifies development standards for specific <br /> sign types. Planning staff cannot approve the "deluxe" signage without additional details demonstrating code <br /> compliance.
