We have completed the first review of the building plans for this project. This email will serve as the review letter. The comments below should be addressed. Two revised full-sized hard-copies of the drawings should be submitted for review. An itemized response letter stating how each comment has been addressed should be included with the drawing. Additional revised documentation, including but not limited structural calculations and other supporting documentation, should be submitted as required. Comments 1. The sign appears to be mounted on a glazed wall surface. Brackets appears to be depicted that suspend the sign from the parapet above. The design should be clarified. Revised details providing a structurally-adequate load path should be included. Note that the brackets appear intended to provide gravity support only and are not positively connected to the structure; the brackets do not appear to provide resistance to uplift from wind loading as required by the building code. Calculations substantiating the design should be submitted for review as needed. See IBC Sections 107.2.1, 1603.1, 1604.1, 1604.4, and 1609.1, and ASCE 7-16 Chapter 26.
