Accidental Spill Prevention and Containment Policy <br /> Within five days following an accidental discharge, PetroCard shall submit to the customer a <br /> detailed written report describing the cause of the discharge and the measures to be taken by <br /> PetroCard to prevent similar future occurrences. Such notification shall not relieve PetroCard of <br /> any expense, loss damage, or other liability, which may be incurred as a result of damage to the <br /> customer's facility, or any other damage to person or property; nor shall such notifications <br /> relieve PetroCard of any fines, civil penalties, or other liability, which may be imposed by <br /> applicable law. PetroCard dispenses Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel from tank vehicles into fuel tanks <br /> of motor vehicles or special equipment. <br /> A. The tank vehicle's specific function is that of supplying fuel-to-fuel tanks. <br /> B. The operation is not performed where the public is invited or where there is unusual <br /> exposure to life and property. <br /> C. The dispensing shall occur at least 15 feet from buildings, property lines and <br /> combustible storage. <br /> D. The dispensing is not permitted within 25 feet of any source of ignition. <br /> E. The dispensing line does not exceed 100 feet in length. <br /> F. The dispensing nozzle is an approved type. <br /> Additionally, we meet all UFC requirements and standards related to tank truck design, <br /> dispensing equipment and dispensing locations. The fuel delivery system is the Firestream <br /> Symbology Mobile Fuel Wizard and has been certified by Weights and Measures and meets all <br /> known Fire Marshall requirements for hazardous environments. Fire extinguishers and spill <br /> clean-up kits are on every tank truck. All drivers are trained in spill prevention and containment. <br /> This training and our dispensing equipment are upgraded regularly. Each employee receives <br /> initial and on-going safety training. <br /> Containment Equipment- Each truck is equipped with: <br /> o Fire extinguishers (Type ABC) o 2 - 10 foot containment booms <br /> o FM -186 enzymes o Shop towels <br /> o Drain cover mats o Shovel and broom <br /> o Dry absorbent material o Cellular phone <br /> 0 50 oil absorbent pads <br /> 11/17/2023 <br />
