City of Everett <br /> Property Access Work Plan <br /> TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN <br /> Soil cuttings from the drilling operations will be drummed and removed from the site. Caution will be used by the <br /> drillers and site personnel to prevent unnecessary tracking of soil outside the work zone. The work zone surface <br /> will be returned,as close as practical,to re-drilled condition prior to completion of work. <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS PROCEDURES <br /> a. Hazardous materials are not anticipated to be encountered at these sites. If field conditions differ from what <br /> is anticipated,and field staff identify soil or groundwater that is possibly contaminated,the project <br /> Environmental Coordinator will be contacted immediately for direction. City of Everett will also be notified <br /> immediately. <br /> b. A spill kit will be available at the work site in the event of a spill of fuel or hydraulic fluid. Contaminated <br /> materials will be disposed of at an appropriate disposal facility. <br /> BRUSH CLEARING <br /> We do not anticipate brush clearing will be required at the boring locations within City of Everett ROW or parcels. If <br /> required, brush clearing will be contained to an access path to and within the work zone. It will consist of mowing <br /> grass and/or cutting shrubs, and potentially minor limb trimming. <br /> COMMUNICATION PLAN <br /> Shannon&Wilson will contact the project team anytime Shannon&Wilson personnel or subcontractors will be <br /> conducting field work. Shannon&Wilson will communicate the type of work being performed,the general location <br /> of the work, and the amount of time the work is expected to take. Shannon&Wilson will give notice to the <br /> outreach department prior to any drilling work. <br /> UNEXPECTED DISCOVERY PROCEDURES <br /> a. If an unexpected discovery of human remains, bones, pottery or other materials are unearthed,work will be <br /> stopped immediately,and the project Environmental Coordinator will be notified. <br /> b. If human remains are discovered,the coroner's office and local law enforcement will be notified immediately <br /> as stipulated in Revised Code of Washington 68.50.645. <br /> c. In the event of an unexpected discovery of pottery or other such materials,the project Environmental <br /> Coordinator may designate a qualified person to access the site prior to continuation of work. <br /> COORDINATION WITH OTHER AGENCIES <br /> a. When boring locations are along bus routes, Community Transit will be notified of the work at least 10 <br /> days ahead of starting work. <br /> b. When businesses are impacted,they will be notified of the work at least 10 days ahead of starting work. <br /> SPECIAL INFORMATION <br /> N/A <br />
