414 Post-Water Heater Installation Checklist <br /> Complete the following checklist when water heater installation is complete. You should be able to <br /> answer YES to each question. If you answer NO to any question, installation is not complete. Refer to the <br /> applicable section in the Rinnai Tankless Water Heater Installation and Operation Manual for additional <br /> information. <br /> For assistance, contact your local dealer or distributor, or call Rinnai Customer Care at 1-800-621-9419. <br /> INSTALLATION LOCATION • <br /> Have you verified the unit, vent and air intakes meet the clearance requirements? ❑ ❑ <br /> 2 COMBUSTION AIR & VENTING YES NO <br /> Have all corrosive compounds been removed from around the combustion air inlet of the ❑ ❑ <br /> tankless water heater? <br /> Have you followed the combustion air requirements to provide sufficient combustion air for ❑ ❑ <br /> the tankless water heater? <br /> Are the correct venting products for the installed model being utilized? ❑ ❑ <br /> Have you installed the vent screen(s)for PVC vent applications? ❑ ❑ <br /> Have you verified the vent system does not exceed maximum length? ❑ ❑ <br /> 3 PLUMBING YES NO <br /> Have the water lines been purged of all debris and the filter cleaned? ❑ ❑ <br /> Have you verified the hot and cold water lines to the tankless water heater are not ❑ ❑ <br /> interchanged? <br /> Does the water supply to the heater have adequate pressure? Is it free of chemicals?
