The contribution rates of each agency are listed below: <br />• SCSO = $39,188 <br />• EPD = $39,188 <br />• LSPD = $4,125 <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br />This Interlocal agreement between SCSO, LSPD and EPD establishes the Region 1 SWAT <br />Team to maintain a multi-jurisdictional cooperative team to effectively respond to high- <br />risk criminal incidents. This will aid in achieving increased operational efficiencies and <br />economies of scale by providing a mechanism for the sharing of material, personnel, <br />knowledge, equipment, and training. The ILA has a two year term, contingent on 2026 <br />budget approval by each agency’s legislative authority for the second year. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Region 1 SWAT Interlocal Agreement. <br /> <br />City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
