• . curb line of 34th Street to c nnect with concrete walk on the north side of 35th Street, and from the concrete walk on the south side of 35th Street to connect with the concrete walk north of 36th Street, also the west side of Oakes Avenue from the south curb of 34th Street to connect with concrete walk north of 36th Street, be improved by the removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of concrete walks and doing all other work necessary in acnnection therewith to makea complete improvement according to the plans and specifications prepared by the city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and ep proved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne. by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for my portion of the Costs and expenses of such improvement.
