The current controls <br />systems are unreliable and do not function properly preventing heat from reaching all <br />the spaces on the west side of the first floor. The scope of service includes schematic, <br />architectural, and engineering designs, permitting, and construction documents for the <br />replacement of the controls system of the first floor HVAC system at the South Precinct <br />along with adding heat to currently unheated spaces and any needed maintenance of the <br />systems. <br />When bids are received staff will present an amendment to authorize a funding <br />ordinance for the cost of the construction for the South Precinct HVAC Controls <br />Replacement Project. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Call for Bids for the South Police Precinct HVAC Controls Replacement <br />Project. <br />
