The rail at the southeast corner of the building is proposed to extend east, out of the structure. <br /> The existing thickened rail slab will be extended to accommodate the rail extension. <br /> The extension of the rail slab was designed for live load specified in the drawings, including a forklift <br /> and 240 psf. These loads were analyzed independently per existing live load criteria in drawings <br /> 40-55-1 S61. Worst case loads were analyzed at the mid-span of the slab. <br /> Analysis was performed using Enercalc and was modeled as a beam on elastic foundation. <br /> Reinforcement pattern follows existing reinforcement layouts. <br /> B002 <br />
