• •
Reid iddleton Client Saari Sheet of
Project Boeing Building 40-31 Wall Removal Design by PNC/SES
728 134th Street SW Suite 200 Structural Design Criteria Date 312023
Everett,Washington 98204
Ph: 425 741-3800 Checked by
Fax: 425 741-3900 Project 262023.028 Date
DESIGN SUMMARY
Building 40-31 is a manufacturing building located at the Boeing site in Everett, WA. This is
part of Boeing's main factory building complex, with no visual separation from the rest of the
factory building. Boeing is planning to remove an existing wall from the building, in order to
accommodate the installation of new and relocated equipment as well as future work-flow. The
wall is non-structural and supplemental structure is not required to address this element of the
work. Support framing is required for the new and relocated equipment at some locations.
Reid Middleton has been tasked with providing drawings to depict structural elements of the
project. This includes: patching of the structural slab at removal locations, support of equipment,
including light steel frames supported from the slab-on-grade or from existing structure. The
existing slab-on-grade is designed for aircraft loading and is therefore sufficient for light
equipment support.
'),I
