This project, funded by a federal grant for $552,184 from <br />the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), aims to create <br />alternative response systems to support crisis participants. The grant must be spent by <br />September 30, 2025, unless the funding source grants a no-cost extension, at which time <br />the contract may be extended not to exceed a maximum period of five years. <br />Project summary statement: <br />Proposals were sought from human services providers for Care Management Services. The <br />awarded supplier will employ qualified staff and ensure they have the training and <br />experience to follow established processes and procedures and carry out effective <br />stabilizing care management duties. The awarded supplier will supervise and implement <br />direct care management services to individuals or families referred by the City of Everett <br />appointed staff. The supplier is expected to communicate regularly and meet with the City <br />for case planning and accountability updates. <br />The Request for Proposal was released on December 6, 2024. It was advertised in the <br />Everett Herald. On January 7, 2025, two proposals were received.
