01114 ORDINANCE NO. 2419-99 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the North/South Alley in Block 2, Plat of Darlington, lying South of Taylor Drive, and West of Bayview Lane. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, did by Resolution No. 4790 duly adopt and fix the 25th day of August,1999 at 8:30A.M., as the date of public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and determination of said Resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, the issues were publicly presented; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the said rights of way resolved to be vacated should be vacated pursuant to the terms and conditions of this ordinance: NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the following described rights-of-way: The North/ South alley in Block 2, Plat of Darlington; , according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, Page 29, Records of Snohomish County, Washington, described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot A, Block 2, Plat of Darlington; THENCE, South 00° 17' 09" East a distance of 67.85 feet; THENCE, South 86° 52' 54" West a distance of 12.02 feet to intersect the East line of Lot 4 of said block; THENCE, North 00° 17' 09" East a distance of 66.72 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of said Lot 4; THENCE, Easterly along the Southerly right of way line of Taylor Drive to the Northwest corner of Lot A of said Block 2 of said Plat of Darlington and the POINT OF BEGINNING. be and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the conditions set forth in this ordinance.
