An Ordinance providing for the submi ,sion tothe voters of the city of Everett , at a special, election to be held in said city on the 18th day of November :I919, a proposed ordinance auth- orizing and empowering the city council and library board of the city of Everett to make expenditures during the fiscal year of 1920, for the support of the library in the sum of $5600.00 in excess of the revenues provided for said year at the regular hearing thereon. Whereas, it appears that in order to maintain e ficiency in the operation of the public library of Everett there should be an additional expenditure during the year 1920 in the sum of 560O.00, THE CIT"`_t OF EVERETT DOES ORDAINS Section 1: That a proposed ordinance authorizing and empowering the City Council end library board of the city of Ev erett to make expenditures in the sun of 5600.00 in excess of the est- imate for the fiscal year of 1920, be submitted to the voters of the city of Everett at a special election to be held therein on November 18th 1919. Section 2: Said proposed ordinance shall be as follows: " Ordinance No. - . An Ordinance authorizing and empowering the city council and Library Board of the city of Everett to make expenditures for the support of the public library of Everett during the fiscal year 1920 , in the sum of $5600.00 , in excess of the revenues provided therefor , for the year 1920, at the regular public hearing thereon. THE CIT i OF EVERaTT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the city council and Library Board , be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to make expenditures for the support of thepublic library of Everett during the fiscal year 1920, in the sum of $5600.00, in excess of the reve ues provided therefor, for the year 1920 at the regular public hearing thereon."
