u <br /> ORDIF'SC1 o. , <br /> An .Ordinance providing for the improvement of Rucker Avenue <br /> from the north line of l2th Street i o the north line of 10th <br /> Street by the construction of a six inch concrete pavement thirty <br /> feet wide , the construction of concrete curbs and six ft. concrete <br /> side-walks from the north line of the Heights Addition to the <br /> north line of 10th Street, also 10th Street from the west line <br /> of Grand Avenue to the west line of Rtacker Avenue by the .construc- <br /> tion of a six inch concrete pavement twenty-four feet wide, <br /> the construction of concrete curbs and five ft. concrete side-walks , <br /> intluding grading to proper grade, clearing and grubbing, <br /> installation of necessary drainage , removal of old lumber and <br /> all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating <br /> an assessment district, creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor, providing that payment for said improvement be <br /> made by special assessment on the property in said district under <br /> the mode of payment by bonds, and dividir.g said district into <br /> a main and enlarged district. <br /> Whereas, a petition of the owners of more than 60 of the <br /> lineal frontage and three-fourths of the area within the limits of <br /> said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of <br /> Public Works any: said Commissioner of Public Works has found the <br /> things set forth in said petition to be true , and, <br /> Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the <br /> City Council all data and information in regard to said improvement <br /> as 'required by law, and , <br /> Whereas, said Commissioner of Public '`,corks has recommended <br /> to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, <br /> and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and <br /> necessity requires such improvement to be made , <br />
