Whereas, the Park Board of the City of Everett as requested that the City Council submit to the voters of Evere t a propositim for &0quirang certain property for park purposes, i roving the Parka of the city. and issuing bonds for the payment of the same. NOT THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby propose to the voters thereof a proposition for acquiring t by purchase or condemnation for park purposes, cert property, for improving the several parks of the city, and the issuance of bonds for the purose of raising funds to make said improvements as follows, to-wit : That the city acquire by purchase or condemnation, that tract of land situate upon SiltCer La_:e near Everett, containing approximately 37 .89 acres and being described as follows : to-wit : " Lot Five (5) in Section Nineteen (19) , Township 2eN.R. F �j"�. 5 excepting two 2) acres heretofore deeded to and now used by the Seattle-Everett Interurban and conveyed to the Puget Sound North-west Traction Company, at an estimated cost of $15,000.00 as near as may be."
