Gray, <br /> Friday, December 29, 2023 <br /> Inspected the following: <br /> • Slab subgrade, interior, tunnel level, approx. grids T.6—T.7/6.57-6.9 per layout on sheet <br /> 1 S10-27 of plans, dated 03/02/2023, supplied by the contractor; excavation was approx. 5 feet <br /> below finish floor; area approx. 30X15 along the referenced grid. <br /> Description <br /> The exposed material consisted of native gravelly sandy silt, pit run, and CDF (reference ORA <br /> Geotechnical Inspection Report#460432, dated 12/23/2023. <br /> Contractor provided a plate vibrator to consolidate the disturbed material and water conditioned the <br /> grade in order to facilitate the compaction method. <br /> Summary <br /> A representative number of probe tests were taken throughout the referenced subgrade; based on <br /> maximum penetrations of 2"-3"with substantial resistance to advance into surface using full body <br /> weight, the subgrade was found to be firm & unyielding and suitable for load bearing design of approx. <br /> minimum of 3,000psf per plan. <br /> Start Time: Is this a re-inspection? ® Yes ❑ No <br /> Finish Time: Original inspection date: 12/26/23 <br /> Inspected by: Reviewed by: <br /> This report applies only to the items tested or reported and is the exclusive property of Otto Rosenau&Associates, Inc.
