SCOPE OF WORK
The Service Provider will book artists for performances at the City’s Sorticulture event, which is June 6,
2025, to June 8, 2025.
For each artist booking, the Service Provider must:
Get written email approval from the City’s Project Manager for the artist and time and place of
performance.
Sign a written contract for the performance with the artist. Service Provider and the artist must sign
the contract. Unless otherwise allowed in writing by the City Project Manager, the contract form used
for all artists must be as provided by the City.
Service Provider must provide to the City’s Project Manager by email a copy of each fully signed
performance contract.
Service Provider will coordinate load in, stage plots, input lists and artist advances.
Within 10 days after Sorticulture is finished, the City will pay the Service Provider the total amount that
Service Provider is obligated to pay artists under its Sorticulture performance contracts. Payment will
only be for artists that the City Project Manager has approved and for which the City Project Manager
has been provided a copy of the fully signed performance contract. This City payment to Service
Provider will not exceed a cumulative total of $5000. If Service Provider makes commitments to artists
that total more than $5000, the City has no obligation to cover that excess and the excess will be Service
Provider’s sole responsibility.
Service Provider is responsible to pay each artist in accordance with the performance contract between
Service Provider and the artist.
To compensate Service Provider for Service Provider’s work under this Agreement, the City will provide
space to Service Provider at 2025 Sorticulture to host a beer garden. Service Provider will be required to
sign the City’s Standard License to Use City Property prior to space use. The City has provided a copy of
the Standard License to Use City Property to Service Provider.
