City of Everett Lift Station No. 1 Valve Replacement <br /> <br /> Scope of Services 7 <br />2. Prepare 90 percent design level drawings, which includes initial development of all <br />drawings. Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />3. Prepare 90 percent design level specifications, which includes initial development of all <br />technical specifications and also all Division 01 specifications. Additionally, BHC will <br />enter project specific information into the Division 00 specifications provided by the City. <br />Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />4. Prepare 90 percent design level opinion of probable construction cost for the combined <br />project. Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />5. Prepare updated combined project schedule. Budget for this work is split evenly <br />between the two scopes of services. <br />6. Perform a QC review of the 90 percent design submittal for the combined project. QC <br />review will be performed by the project manager and a senior or principal level engineer <br />not directly involved in the design efforts. Budget for this work is split evenly between the <br />two scopes of services. <br />7. Submit 90 Percent Design Submittal for the combined project including plans, <br />specifications, opinion of probable construction costs, and project schedule to the City <br />for review. Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />8. One (1) site visit assumed necessary for verification of design elements prior to <br />completion of the 90 Percent Design Submittal. Budget for this work is split evenly <br />between the two scopes of services. <br />9. One (1) meeting with the City to review the 90 Percent Design Submittal for the <br />combined project and discuss City review comments. BHC will prepare notes to <br />document decisions. Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of <br />services. <br />Subtask 304 - Final Construction Bid Documents: <br />1. Address 90 Percent Design Submittal City review comments for the combined project. <br />Prepare and submit a Record of Comment to clearly address the resolution to each City <br />review comment. Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />2. Prepare construction bid level drawings and specifications for the combined project. <br />Budget for this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />3. Perform a QC review of the final design submittal for the combined project to ensure all <br />City comments have been properly addressed. Budget for this work is split evenly <br />between the two scopes of services. <br />4. Prepare final opinion of probable construction cost for the combined project. Budget for <br />this work is split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />5. Prepare updated combined project schedule. Budget for this work is split evenly <br />between the two scopes of services. <br />6. If requested, submit electronic copies of the Final Construction Bid Documents for the <br />combined project prior to engineer’s signature to the City for final review, comment, <br />and/or acceptance. <br />7. Address any final City comments and submit electronic copies of the signed Final <br />Construction Bid Documents for the combined project to the City. Budget for this work is <br />split evenly between the two scopes of services. <br />City of Everett Responsibilities <br />1. Provide available record drawings as requested. <br />2. Provide written comments on the 50 percent and 90 percent design submittals. <br />3. Confirm the 90 percent design submittal adequately addresses City comments on the 50 <br />percent design and provide follow-up comments as needed.
