On Sheets A5.0 and A6.0, the proposed CMU opening is greater than 7'-0" (noted as 9'-8" per the Glazing Note E <br />on Sheet A5.0 and on A1.0) and indicates the requirement to provide lintel beam strengthening as designed by a <br />structural engineer (Detail 1/A5.0). Detail 13/A6.0 appears to provide another detail for openings for 8'-0" max <br />opening. Please provide a lintel strengthening that is adequate for the opening being designed and verify that <br />vertical loading carrying capacity at this location is adequate for the proposed alteration. Please provide <br />stamped calculations and details for the proposed opening.
