• •
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
From: Sarah Kennedy<sarah@amorrestoration.com>
Sent: Friday, September 24, 2021 8:35 AM
To: Cindy Bergsma <CBergsma@everettwa.gov>
Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: 9815 HOLLY DRIVEFW: Prelim Condo Fire Damage Comments
CAUTION:This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you
recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
Hi Cindy,
I had spoken to a permit specialist to get guidance on how to apply for the permits. We were instructed to submit one
application for the building that has a roof repair and then there are multiple units within the building that we were told
will need permits per unit. This is not a new build and will not have engineered drawings or architect-approved
drawings. This is a simple replacement of what already exists. The building had a fire with fire and water damage that
has been mitigated and now needs to be replaced. These repairs are flooring, walls, and some cabinetry. Everything will
be replaced with what was existing before. Please help me understand the process better, as we have never had to do
this much for other cities before. We specialize in fire and water damage repair and have had to obtain permits in most
of the other cities around the Seattle area, what we submitted to you is usually enough to obtain the permits and
request inspections. Please let me know how we can streamline the process, so that we can quickly move forward to
help get these displaced families back into their homes as quickly as possible.
Thank you,
Sarah Kennedy
Senior Project Manager
206.669.9692
sarah@amorrestoration.com
51,
