Construction-level documents should be submitted for review. Two complete sets of the drawings should be submitted. Preliminary comments are provided below to assist in preparing the drawings, but these are not intended to provide a comprehensive review. Comments: 1. Construction-level drawings should be submitted for review. The sketches including the structural calculations are not sufficient. 2. The project involves a multi-family building with more than 4 dwellings. The construction drawings must be prepared and sealed by a professional architect licensed in the state of Washington. See RWC Section 18.08.410 Item (5). 3. The drawings should include framing plans prepared and signed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Washington. See RCW Sections 18.43.010, 18.43.020, and 18.43.070. 4. The drawings should specify the applicable building codes, including but not limited to the 2018 IBC and 2018 WSEC. 5. The Occupancy Classification should be specified in the drawings. 6. The Construction Type should be specified in the drawings. The required fire-rated performed required for components of the building system should be stated. 7. The drawing should state if existing sprinkler and fire alarms systems are present. 8. The architectural drawings should include repair of the fire-rated assemblies. Details for the assemblies should be included. The details should specify a listed tested assembly. 9.
