The previous use of the space was an "open to below"area of an open-air stairway. The
functional use has been restored to its previous state.
2. No existing wall, floor, or ceiling assemblies have been altered as part of the unpermitted
activity nor during the subsequent removal. Demo was exclusive to the unpermitted
structural elements. All that remains is some minor envelope repair that will occur once
construction is allowed to resume.
In summary, the unpermitted structure did not impact the completeness of the existing structure
and assemblies. The owner has since removed the unpermitted structure in its entirety.
visited the site on October 5, 2020 and reviewed the status with the owner and the contractor. I
observed that the existing structure (including strapping and framing) remains intact, unaltered
from its original state prior to installation of the unpermitted structure. Furthermore, I do hereby
certify that the structure of the above referenced building remains intact as per it's state prior the
aforementioned activities.
Sincerely,
Mich el A.
