March 5, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., March 5, 2025, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Bader, Rhyne, <br />Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. Council Member Fosse and Vogeli were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 26, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli arrived at 6:31 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin stated that the State of the City will be held on March 27th at 4:00 p.m., hosted <br />at Apex Everett by the Everett Chamber of Commerce, and there would be a community edition <br />on March 31st held at the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin shared that the Everett Police Department is hosting a community meeting <br />focused on connecting with our deaf and hard of hearing community, on Friday, March 14th at <br />5:00 p.m., held at the Everett Police Department’s South Precinct location. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin stated that Snohomish County has added Frontier Airlines to Paine Field. They <br />will be offering nine (9) flights a week to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver beginning June 2nd. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received no written comments and there were no members of the public who spoke. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended a Comprehensive Plan Update Open House, toured the Port <br />Gardner Storage Facility, and provided comments on the US Highway 2 Trestle Capacity <br />Improvement Study. <br /> <br />
