As <br /> noted, please provide the sleeping room classification per R330.3—see comment 2. <br /> General Comments: <br /> 1) The proposed project involves converting a single-family residence into an adult family home (AFH). The <br /> submittal documents are required to include the AFH checklist. The checklist should include a floor plan on <br /> 8.5x11 paper per Section 3. Complete Sections 1, 2,and 4; do not complete Section 5. Submit the entire <br /> checklist with the floor plan. See the following link for the checklist or see attached: <br /> https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/108/Adult-family-home-checklist-PDF <br /> 2) R330.3 Sleeping Room Classification <br /> Each sleeping room in an adult family home shall be classified as: <br /> Type S-Where the means of egress contains stairs,elevators or platform lifts. <br /> Type NS1-Where one means of egress is at grade level or a ramp constructed in accordance with Section <br /> R330.9 is provided. <br /> Type NS2-Where two means of egress are at grade level or ramps constructed in accordance with Section <br /> R330.9 are provided. <br /> Once completed,feel free to simply email it back to me and I will redline the room classification on the floor plan and <br /> complete the permit approval.
