(d) To confirm, as further assurance, any pledge under this ordinance (and the subjection <br />to any claim, lien or pledge created or to be created by this ordinance) of any other money, securities <br />or funds; <br />(e) To authorize different denominations of the Bonds and to make correlative <br />amendments and modifications to this ordinance regarding exchangeability of Bonds of different <br />authorized denominations, redemptions of portions of Bonds of particular authorized denominations <br />and similar amendments and modifications of a technical nature; <br />(f) To amend or supplement this ordinance in any other respect which is not materially <br />adverse to the registered owners of the Bonds; and <br />(g) To maintain the exclusion from <br />i <br />Section 18. General Authorization and Ratification. The Designated Representative and <br />other appropriate officers of the City are severally authorized to take such actions and to execute <br />such documents as in their judgment may be necessary or desirable to carry out the transactions <br />contemplated in connection with this ordinance, and to do everything necessary for the prompt <br />delivery of each Series of the Bonds to the Purchaser thereof and for the proper application, use and <br />investment of the proceeds of the Bonds. All actions taken prior to the effective date of this <br />ordinance in furtherance of the purposes described in this ordinance and not inconsistent with the <br />terms of this ordinance are ratified and confirmed in all respects. <br />Section 19. Severability. If any provision in this ordinance is declared by any court of <br />competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision shall be null and void and shall be <br />deemed separable from the remaining provision of this ordinance and shall in no way affect the <br />validity of the other provisions of this ordinance or of the Bonds. <br />Section 20. Effective Date of Ordinance. This ordinance shall be effective fifteen days <br />after it becomes valid pursuant to Section 3.4 of the City Charter. <br />14 <br />
