• s. ` t 11. • ORDINANCE No. 1868 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Clinton Place from the West line of Norton Avenue to the East line of Friday Avenue, and Friday Avenue from the north line of Clinton Peace to the north line of 39th Street , by paving and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of "payment by bonds." Whereas, a majority petition of the property owners petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the city Council all data and information in regard to said improvement as required by law, and, Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the city council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, now therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN. Section 1: That Clinton Place from the west line of Norton Avenue to the East line of Friday Avenue, and Friday Avenue from the north line of Clinton Place to the north line of 39th Street, be improved by paving and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and -1-
