The project also includes re -roofing the existing bus wash <br />building, resurfacing existing paved areas for bus parking and installation of a new below -ground <br />stormwater detention vault. <br />The project area is approximately 7 acres; no additional footprint will be added to the previously <br />developed area. <br />Project Proponent: <br />Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area <br />Corporation (Community Transit) <br />Location of Proposal: <br />Everett, Washington <br />Lead Agency: <br />Community Transit <br />The lead agency has determined that the proposal does not have a probable significant adverse <br />environmental impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required <br />under RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after a review of the completed environmental <br />checklist and other information on file with Community Transit. This information is available to the <br />public on their website at www.communitytransit.org/mcobSEPA. <br />This Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2) and Community <br />Transit's SEPA rules (Resolution 3-05). The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 21 days from <br />the date of issue. Comments must be submitted no later than 14 days after date of issue, by 5:00 p.m., <br />December 30, 2020. Comments should be submitted to the responsible official at the address given <br />below. The responsible official will reconsider the DNS based on timely comments and may retain, <br />modify, or, if significant adverse impacts are likely, withdraw the DNS.
