Please see our responses to comments below. <br />PERMIT COMMENT RESPONSES <br />1. On Sheets M4.5-MB and M7.5-MB, replacement mechanical units appear to be located <br />in similar locations. Please verify if strengthening is being provided or is within the <br />exceptions of IEBC 707.2 for existing members. Please verify and provide additional <br />calculations if the exception is not met. <br />Response: The replacement mechanical unit weights have been revised and <br />do not exceed the original mechanical units at each location on the existing <br />building. Please see the attached snapshots from the As -Built drawings of the <br />existing building. <br />LJ <br />
