Terri Jorgenson
From: Terri Jorgenson
Sent: Monday,January 13, 2020 11:12 AM
To: leccontractors@hotmail.com
Cc: Ted de Budden
Subject: Permits required 2805 19th St.
Good Morning Christian,
I spoke with Ted de Budden, Chief Inspector, regarding your project and the conversation you and I had at the permit
counter on Friday. Based on the photos we have of the construction work you are doing, a site visit will not be required
to determine if you need a building permit. In addition to the electrical and mechanical permits issued to you, it is
evident that you will need building and plumbing permits for the alteration you have made to the structure.
You will need to submit detailed construction drawings for review and approval for your remodel before we issue any
additional permits and before we can continue any inspections for the permits that have been issued to you.The floor
plan you gave me on Friday is not adequate as construction plans as it does not provide details of the work you are
doing including the window installation and the deck repair/replacement.Your plans should also include any specs for
any structural elements installed, replaced or repaired, wall covering details to replace the lathe and plaster that was
removed as well as how you will meet current energy code requirement for insulation and ventilation.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Terri Jorgenson
Li,
11111 Permit Technician I Permit Services
Public Works
EVERETT 425.257.8861 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
