This document is intended to provide engineering information necessary to support the
building permit application to the City of Everett for the single-family residence (SFR)
and concrete driveway proposed on this lot. The site is located at XXXX 74th St, refer to
Figure 1 for a vicinity map. The site area is approximately .27 acres. Access is taken
from the existing road (74th St) to the south. The existing site currently consists of asphalt
and pasture. The slopes of the site in the area of disturbance are moderate and average
approximately 11 percent down to the northeast. The proposed SFR will be set
approximately 11 from the western and 49 feet from the southern property lines.
This project proposes to construct more than 2,000 sf and less than 5,000 sf of new and
replaced impervious surfaces. Therefore, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to all of the
new and replaced impervious surfaces for this project along with all the converted
vegetated areas. The proposed impervious surfaces will be dispersed on site. Included
on the following page is a copy of the MR flow chart from the Department of Ecology
(DOE) 2019 Stormwater Management Manual (SWMM).
Figures 2 & 3 are provided to show the existing and developed basins and runoff
conditions for this site. The runoff in the existing conditions sheet flows over vegetated
and asphalt surfaces northeast, following the topography, towards the northern and
eastern property line. From there it collects into a low spot on the neighboring property
where it eventually infiltrates into the ground.
Due to the size of the project, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to all of the new plus
replaced impervious surfaces, as well as any converted pervious surfaces. All drainage
improvements have been designed to meet or exceed the 2019 DOE Stormwater
Management Manual requirements.
Haack — 74th 22-0807
September 2022 Page 3
