<br />• The portion of Kent in WRIA 8 is solely the Kent Watershed and has no population allocated to it.

<br />King County: Assessed value is based on King County Assessor’s data February 2021, land + improvements value
<br />Assessed value and area (sq. miles) excludes the Upper Cedar River subwatershed.
<br />• Jurisdictions entirely within a WRIA are assigned the 2023 OFM April 1st Estimate directly. Jurisdictions that straddle WRIA boundaries are assigned the percent share of the 2023
<br />OFM April 1st Estimate based on a geographic allocation of census blocks across WRIA boundaries, accounting for water areas and public land where people are unlikely to live.
<br />Note: This method was tested against the 2021 ILA Cost Share tables using 2020 OFM data and was determined to be highly comparable for estimating population breakdowns. As
<br />OFM releases data every year, and the data spans both King and Snohomish Counties, this is a consistent and repeatable analysis across the entire study area.
