located within the project area and in the vicinity. f help]
In locations onsite contaminants such as arsenic, TPH, PCP, cPAHs and PCBs
could be in the groundwater in contained locations. During construction
excavated soil will be monitored for visual or olfactory evidence of
contamination. If contaminated soils are found, the material from these areas
will be separated and managed as contaminated soil thusly, preventing cross-
contamination.
3) Describe any toxic or hazardous chemicals that might be stored, used, or produced
during the project's development or construction, or at any time during the operating
life of the project. [help]
There are no known existing hazardous chemicals being stored, used or
produced on-site. Chemicals typically used in commercial construction such as
paint and cleaning chemicals will be used, managed, and regulated under the
SWPPP for this proposal.
4) Describe special emergency services that might be required. f help[
There are no special emergency services anticipated with this development.
5) Proposed measures to reduce or control environmental health hazards, if any: [help'
Any site-disturbing activities will, at a minimum, comply with the provisions of
29 CFR 1926 and WAC 296-155. As such, a site-specific health and safety plan
will be developed. Furthermore, excavated soil will be monitored for visual or
olfactory evidence of contamination. If contaminated soils are found, the
material from these areas will be separated and managed as contaminated soil
thusly, preventing cross-contamination.
b. Noise [help'
1) What types of noise exist in the area which may affect your project (for example:
traffic, equipment, operation, other)?f help]
The primary source of noise would be from equipment used during construction.
2) What types and levels of noise would be created by or associated with the project on a
short-term or a long-term basis (for example: traffic, construction, operation, other)?
Indicate what hours noise would come from the site. f help]
Construction activities on the site will temporarily increase the peak onsite
noise levels. All construction will occur during the City of Everett's approved
hours of operation. The complete project would result in a slight increase in
ambient noise levels in the vicinity.
3) Proposed measures to reduce or control noise impacts, if any: [help]
Construction activity will be limited to hours as specified by the City of Everett
which will mitigate the impacts of potential construction noise.
8. Land and Shoreline Use [help]
a. What is the current use of the site and adjacent properties? Will the proposal affect
current land uses on nearby or adjacent properties? If so, describe. f i leap'
SEPA Environmental checklist(WAC 197-11-960) July2016 Page 8 of 14
