No. 2300708 <br />Permit Submittal <br />Structural Calculations <br />This section covers the analysis of existing building components such and slab and trench walls <br />which are subject to loads from new mechanical equipment. In building 40-31, the slab was <br />evaluated for the loading of the shim mills through checking the concrete punching shear and <br />bearing capacities at the anchor points using ACI 318-19. The trench wall was evaluated for the <br />surcharge loading of the shim mills, which was found to be less than the specified live loading it <br />was designed for. The soils were evaluated with a 5 ksf bearing capacity in accordance with the <br />2014 GeoEngineering report. <br />CO2 <br />
