May 25, 2016 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Bader who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION — THE BOEING COMPANY'S CENTENNIAL <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to adopt Resolution No. 6987 of the City of Everett <br /> congratulating The Boeing Company and its employees on the <br /> company's centennial. <br /> Mayor Stephanson presented the resolution to Rich White, Government <br /> Relations Specialist at The Boeing Company. <br /> Rich White thanked the Mayor and the City Council for the <br /> acknowledgement. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Bader who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION — SOUND TRANSIT 3 LIGHT RAIL EXTENSION <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to adopt Resolution No. 6988 authorizing the Mayor to <br /> execute a Memorandum of Understanding between the Cities of <br /> Everett, Lynnwood, and Snohomish County to cooperate and take all <br /> responsible, feasible, and lawful measures to facilitate the planning, <br /> engineering, and permitting of the ST-3 light rail extension from <br /> Lynnwood to Everett, in substantially the form provided. <br /> Kent Peverly, Everett, expressed his disappointment with Sound Transit's <br /> financial decisions. <br /> Council Member Roberts noted that the resolution was adopted by the <br /> Lynnwood City Council and the Snohomish County Council earlier this <br /> 173 <br />
