1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ' <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of calcium <br /> nitrate solution(Bioxide)from Evoqua Water Technologies LLC. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has chosen and used calcium nitrate solution for lift station odor control since 2002; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,the City has tested similar products available from other manufacturers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Evoqua Water Technologies LLC is the only supplier capable of providing the required product <br /> and associated technical services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying calcium nitrate solution <br /> (Bioxide); the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the purchase of Bioxide <br /> from Evoqua Water Technologies LLC. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this day of , 2016. <br /> Council President <br /> 134 <br />
