State of Arashington Department of Ecology 1 3 Page 2 of 41 <br /> AnreementNo: WQC-2016-EverPW-00014 <br /> Project Title: Cleveland Ave.Sewer Replacement and Stormwater Separation <br /> Recipient Name: City of Everett-Public Works Department <br /> through August),80 CSO discharge events totaling 6.2 million gallons volume occurred. <br /> This project is the second phase of a two phase project to add drainage pipe and water quality treatment <br /> facilities to provide full stormwater separation from a 27 acre combined sewer area.Approximately 30 <br /> stormwater treatment units(e.g.Filterra and Contech Stonnfilter)and one bioretention swale will be installed. <br /> The project also includes 7 acres of combined sewer area,south of Everett Avenue,which will be converted to <br /> partial separation with water quality flows continuing to be directed to the RECIPIENT'S Water Pollution <br /> Control Facility for treatment.Separated and treated stormwater from the full stormwater separation area and <br /> higher stormwater flows from the partial separation area will discharge to the Snohomish River.Benefits to the <br /> Snohomish River and Puget Sound,including reductions in in fecal coliform and TSS will be achieved by <br /> reducing the number and severity of CSO events. <br /> Overall Goal: <br /> This project will help protect and restore water quality in Washington by reducing stormwater impacts from <br /> existing infrastructure and development. <br /> • <br /> 143 <br /> Version 10/30/2015 <br />
