�kF �s r < •rt QF <br /> �} <br /> Software Installation (WBS 2) <br /> Software Installation includes the City's installation of the Host Environment and the CJS-provided <br /> applications: <br /> • JWorks Attorney Case Management System <br /> • JWorks Reporting <br /> • JWorks DMS (Document Management) <br /> Installation of Host Environment: <br /> The City will be responsible for the installation of the host environment. The host environment will <br /> be comprised of the necessary hardware, operating system software and database software. <br /> The host environment must be prepared in compliance with minimum requirements provided by <br /> CJS. These minimum requirements will be set forth in the Host Environment Specification which <br /> will be furnished by CJS. CJS assumes the host environment will be available prior to the <br /> commencement of the application installation activities. <br /> The City will make remote high speed connectivity to the host environment available to CJS <br /> for the purposes of the software installation and for ongoing support of the CMS software <br /> application and database. A CJS technical specialist will perform a validation of the host <br /> environment prior to installation of the application and database software. Should the host <br /> environment not meet the minimum requirements, a list of deficiencies will be provided. The <br /> City will mitigate any deficiencies prior to the commencement of application and database <br /> installation activities. <br /> The City will install the test and production environments per the minimum requirements. A CJS <br /> technical specialist will perform a validation of the host environment prior to installation of the <br /> software applications. Should the environment not meet the minimum specification requirements, <br /> a list of deficiencies will be provided. The City will mitigate any deficiencies prior to the <br /> commencement of application installation activities. <br /> It is critical that at least one of these parts of the hosting environments (Test) is ready prior to start <br /> of Systems Setup/Testing (WBS 3), as this environment will be utilized for these activities. <br /> Application Installation: <br /> CJS technical specialists will install the base JWorks applications in the City's host environment. <br /> Software installation will be performed remotely. <br /> During the installation, CJS will copy the software applications into the City's host environment. <br /> The databases will be installed and files and file structures created. The CJS technical specialist <br /> will validate the installation through a set of structured validation steps. Once validation is <br /> completed, an administrator account will be created for the City and a successful administrator <br /> login validated by City staff. <br /> The Application will be installed in up to three (3) environments: Test, Training and Production. <br /> CJS has allocated 2 service days for application installation. <br /> Perform Initial Application Configuration: <br /> CJS will perform an initial configuration of the JWorks applications.
