This was the end of the field reconnaissance. This location is approximately 'Amile from
Possession Sound.
In conclusion, the downstream conveyance system is not limited by the 24" pipe
traveling underneath the railroad spur. The calculated undetained post -developed flow
for Basin A is 4.10 cfs, therefore it is concluded that there are no downstream
restrictions to the western conveyance system.
Rncin R-
10/9/15 Update: The only revision to the downstream system appears to be the
addition of a closed pipe conveyance which replaced a rip -rap channel around one
residence. This is an improvement to the system. See below for additional
descriptions and photographs.
This level 1 downstream analysis was completed by Steven Pesce at a different date,
October 17, 2005. This drainage Basin B is conveyed to a steep ravine that intersects the
property along the north property line. The ravine has signs of surface flow at the low
point of the swale. The stormwater is then conveyed along the forested Swale, where it
intersects a home built wall which crosses the flow path. This wall is shown in the photo
below:
Soundview
Preliminary Downstream Analysis
