sides ranging from 1:1 to 2:1. The side slopes are generally fully vegetated from the
creek edge to the top of banks.
Approximately 650' from the northern site boundary, the drainage creek intersects
Edgewater Creek. Edgewater Creek has approximately 2-3 times the flow of the earlier
described tributary.
The western bank of the creek is steep and approximately 45' high. The eastern bank is
similar in height, but only 2:1 in slope. Edgewater Creek at this location appeared to very
stable and was made up of sand, gravel, cobbles and large boulders.
Since this project will detain the release rates to the predeveloped release rates, no
additional measures are proposed and the stormwater outfall will be dispersed on -site
at the low point of the swale.
Conclusions
Based on the field review of October 8, 2015, it was confirmed that the majority of the
downstream system has not been modified since the 2005/2006 analysis. The new pipe
system that was installed in Basin 'B' will help eliminate any erosion concerns. Since the
project will only release at pre -developed rates, no impacts to the downstream system
are anticipated.
Soundview
Preliminary Downstream Analysis
