ES-4011.01 <br />August 14, 2015 Page 11 <br />A summary of the aerial photograph review is presented, as follows: <br />4.1.1 Subject Site <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 1941 and 2005 depict the site as being undeveloped <br />forested land. <br />• An aerial photograph reviewed from 2006 depicts the site as being cleared of vegetation. <br />Trails appear throughout the property. <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 2009 and 2011 depict re -growth of vegetation <br />throughout the property. <br />4.1.2 Surrounding Areas <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 1941 and 1952 depict the surrounding properties as <br />being undeveloped forested land. Residential development appears north along the <br />Puget Sound. <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 1968 and 1973 depict additional single family <br />residential homes north and northeast of the property. <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 1979 and 1980 depict single family residential homes <br />along Soundview Avenue and Bridle Lane east, northeast of the subject site. <br />• An aerial photograph reviewed from 1990 depicts a light industrial complex, Intermac <br />1 Technologies Corporation, east of the subject site across 36th Avenue West. <br />• Aerial photographs reviewed from 2005 and 2011 depict a light industrial complex, <br />Boeing, south of the subject site. <br />Note: Aerial photographs only provide information on indications of land use and no <br />conclusions can be drawn from photographs alone. However, ESNW's review of available <br />aerial photographs did not reveal obvious signs of dumping, spilling, leaking, storage or <br />disposal of hazardous materials or wastes on -site. <br />4.2 SANBORN FIRE INSURANCE MAPS <br />Fire insurance maps provide historical land use information for some metropolitan and small, <br />established towns. ESNW retained EDR-Sanborn, Inc. to search the nation's largest and most <br />complete collection of Sanborn fire insurance maps covering the site area. According to EDR, <br />there were no Sanborn maps identified that included the site area (see Appendix D). <br />4.3 CITY DIRECTORIES <br />ESNW retained EDR to review current and historical city directory listings. City directories from <br />1982 to 2013 were made available by the EDR City Directory Image Report (see Appendix F). <br />According to EDR, there are no city directories available for the subject site.
