As part of the above referenced stability assessment for the proposed <br /> Soundview Business Center vault structures, the descending slope areas of Lot 5 were <br /> evaluated and considered with respect to overall site stability. Soils throughout Lot 5 are <br /> interpreted as dense and stable granular till deposits. Overall stability of the Lot 5 soils and <br /> descending slope area is characterized as good. Additionally, given recent episodes of heavy <br /> rain, a follow up reconnaissance of the descending slope area throughout Lot 5 was conducted <br /> on December 14, 2015. No indication of deep seated slope movements or shallow debris flow <br /> activity was observed. Soils near surface are comprised of relatively well drained granular till <br /> soils. The mature evergreen trees throughout the sloped areas exhibit vertical growth patterns, <br /> with no indication of severe arching indicative of slope movements. In this respect, and based <br /> on the prior stability analyses, Lot 5 is considered stable. If Lot 5 will be developed in the <br /> future, ESNW should prepare a formal geotechnical report specific to the proposed <br /> development activity. <br /> We trust the letter and supplement assessment meet your current needs.
