March 26, 2025 <br />2 <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received one (1) written comment and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Jimmy Castro and Steven Short <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />City Council members thanked the public commenters and congratulated the new police officer. <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo provided comments on the Everett At Work app, attended the Pinehurst- <br />Beverly Park Neighborhood meeting, and met with a group yesterday for Sound Transit’s Everett <br />Link Extension. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader attended the Council of Neighborhood meeting, and they are planning a <br />city cleanup day in May. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne attended the Pinehurst-Beverly Park Neighborhood meeting and stated <br />they would be transitioning their meetings to 5x (five times) annually. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy stated that nominations for the Monte Cristo Awards are still open. <br /> <br />President Schwab recognized Council’s Executive Assistant Angela Ely who is celebrating her <br />birthday this week. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 20-minute executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.110.1(i) <br />to discuss three legal matters, with potential council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br />
