The preferred preliminary design is shown in Figure 1, below. This memorandum
supports the design and planning process by addressing several traffic engineering elements of work, including
site access, traffic mitigation, and signal modifications.Though a formal traffic analysis is not required for this
project, the existing and proposed signalized intersections within the study limits were evaluated due to the
I
unique configuration of the transit center and PUD driveways.
I .
1
a r;
1 1 A\\
. .... iN,,, '', ‘‘‘',
7.
i
IFigure 1 — Preliminary Transit Center Layout
Existing Conditions I
Seaway Boulevard is a north south arterial with a terminus at State Route 526 (Boeing Freeway)that provides
access to the Everett Boeing Plant via three locations. The first location is a northbound off-ramp that connects
I Page I
File location:X:\Community Transit\Projects\201 10155-Community Transit On-Call\.016-Seaway Transit Center Preliminary Engineering\Traffic\Submittals\02-
Revision based on Katherine Casseday Comments\Seaway Transit Center -DRAFT Traffic Memorandum.docx
