value, and adapted to any lawful use, such judge shall, as a part of the order and judgment direct that said articles other than intoxicating liquors shall be sold by the officer having them in custody, and the proceeds of such sale shall be paid into the City Treasury of the City of Everett. Section 12: It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession or upon his person, any intoxicating liquor whatsoever, pro- vided, however, that this section shall not apply to any registered pharmacist or persons having or keeping alcohol as provided by law, and provided further, twat the above provisions of this section shall not apply to any ordained clergyman, priest or rabbi actually engaged in the ministering to a religious congregation in this City, in so far as the said clergyman, priest or rabbi is keeping intoxicating liquors for the purpose of administrating the same for sacramental purposes; and pro- viding, further, that in any prosecution under this ordinance the pos- session of any quantity of intoxicating liquors shall be prima facie evidence that said liquors were kept unlawfully, Section 13: It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a common carrier to transport or carry within or bring into the City of Everett, any intoxicating liquors whatsoever. Section 14: It shall be unlawful for any person to make a false statement to a physician, or pharmacist, for the purpose of obtaining intoxicating liquor or alcohol, or to any railroad express, or trans- portation company, or any person engaged in the business of transporting goods, wares and merchandise for the purpose of obtaining shipment, trans- portation or delivery of any intoxicating liquor. Section 15: Ordinance Numbers 1695, 1723 and 1834 of the City of Everett are hereby repealed. Section 16:. Any person convicted of any violation of this ordin- ance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not exceeding One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the City Jail for a period of not exceeding Thirty (30 ) Days or by both such fine and im- prisonment.
