Plan Review, Summary Comments, Dave Voigt, May 2, 2013: 1) Plans do not depict any of the extra manholes or pipe requested by the City to divert SD runoff from the CUP site. The City wishes to pursue resolution of the two issues in item 4) above and if determined to be workable, the City is requesting an opportunity to add the work to the project. MKA would prepare designs and plans in coordination with the City. Mortensen Construction would furnish a cost estimate (bid) for the work. 2) The new manhole (Detail 11 on C302) to be built on the existing City sewer is assumed to become a City -owned structure. The plan detail suggests the existing pipe would be cut to install the new MH base, whereas a saddle manhole base could be easier to install. The City would like to review shop drawings for that structure and for the backwater valve. 3) See markups on plans for other miscellaneous and various items.
