The results of observation(s) for today were reported <br />to Joe Lang. Mayes Terracon representative arrived on site at 0800 and departed at 1000. <br />Observed Locations <br />Sewer line trench infill. <br />Subgrade Review <br />Prior to the placement of fill, the subgrade was reviewed and consisted of native brown silty sand with gravel, <br />pea gravel pipe bedding. The subgrade was observed to be firm and stable. <br />Fill Placement <br />Fill Type Placed Proctor No.(s) Fill Description Source of Fill <br />Structural Fill N/A Brown silty sand Previously excavated soils from sewer line trench <br />The fill was observed to be placed in an approximately 12" thick lift. Compaction efforts were applied utilizing a <br />hand operated vibratory plate and equipment mounted vibratory plate.
