Earthwork is being performed by Bayley Construction. The results of observation(s) for <br />today were reported to Joe Lang. Mayes Terracon representative arrived on site at 1030 and departed at 1130. <br />The construction documents referenced for this inspection include the Permit Set. <br />Observed Locations <br />Future Trader Joe's, grid lines B-D/1-7 slab -on -grade <br />Fill Placement <br />Fill Type Placed Proctor No.(s) Fill Description Source of Fill <br />Existing native subgrade 0013A Coarse sand with silt On site existing native subgrade <br />The fill placed appeared firm and stable during the application of compaction efforts. <br />Density Test Results <br />Field density tests were conducted on the previously placed fill utilizing the nuclear method (ASTM D6938). Four <br />field density tests were performed. The test results met the minimum specified 95% compaction requirement as <br />compared to ASTM D 1557 test method. Refer to the attached field density test report for individual test data. <br />Additional Comments <br />Existing native subgrade was moistened and compacted.
